Every year, the Piedmont Region and the Regional Agency for the Environment publish their official report, which gives an overview of information on the situation of the environment and its evolution over time. This document summarises all the knowledge acquired through monitoring, testing and analysing data.
Two documentaries presented at the festival will give greater visibility to these data and focus attention on water issues: I fiumi non cantano più and La siccità: dalla montagna alla pianura. The screening will be followed by a debate, moderated by RAI journalist Silvia Rosa Brusin. Speakers on the panel will be Silvia Rovere, mayor of Ostana and manager of the La Galamberna mountain hut; a representative of the farming community; Paolo Romano, President of SMAT; Secondo Barbero, director of ARPA Piedmont; and Stefania Crotta, director of Environment Energy and Territory.
