Ecomusei Palcoscenico Naturale is a cultural, environmental project that combines live performance, memory, and landscape in 30 ecomuseums throughout Piedmont. Promoted jointly by Piemonte dal Vivo, Regione Piemonte, Abbonamento Musei, and Rete Ecomusei, the initiative transforms museum venues into spaces for collective narration and environmental awareness.
The Art of Feltmaking
4.30 pm – 60 minutes duration
In this workshop conducted by Romina Dogliani “Dorò”, an artistic feltmaker, we discover the ancient technique of feltmaking. It’s very simple: you apply warm soapy water to the wool, press and rub the wool (from Sambucana sheep from the Valle Stura) and the fibers will tighten into a felted textile material that is resistant, warm, and versatile.

An open discussion with experts from environmental research and culture about how memory, landscape, and community can foster awareness and change. Two short films by artist and film director Simone Rosset will be shown during the meeting:
