This year, the Festival and Casacomune have scheduled three ecology readings that examine our relationship with the environment and human activity. Much more than book presentations, the readings are a space for listening and transformation, where words are an ecological act of narration, an exposé, memory, and poetry. The three events are meant to change one’s view, raise consciousness to make the so-called ecological conversion something authentic in the ways we define the world, talk about and live it.

It promotes the use of water bottles and environmental protection campaigns. Exposure to per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS), revoked plastic tax, and mistrust of tap water number among the issues the book examines to show us that behind every drop of water is a political decision and a huge business that will cover us in polyethylene terephthalate, aka PET.
