CASA LUFT
13:00/22:00
Wunderkammer is an experimental project for artistic training and production promoted by Superottimisti – Archivio regionale di film di famiglia [Superottimisti Regional Archive of Home Movies]. It encompasses initiatives for creative reworking of home movies collected and digitalized in Fobello and Val Mastallone, province of Vercelli. The objective of the artist in residence program was to create four multidisciplinary works by students from the University of Turin, who interpreted their encounter with the community, the local inhabitants, and their memories captured on film. During CinemAmbiente, Casa Luft, a venue for training and research in live performance, will engage the audience in a dialogue between diverse cultures and generations, contemporary artistic language and home movies from the past.

Memoria che mi attraversa, Sara Mohammadi Jouzdani
An immersive performance in which the body, the archive material, and the audience gaze enter into a sensory and poetic experience, where the body becomes a live surface for memory. Film projection, sound, light. And scenic action open a space containing individual and collective memory, the present and traces of what has remained and what continues to evolve.
Dove la cenere fiorisce, Giulia Magra
A photography book by the artist about the “matriarchy of fatigue” of mountain women. The images do not celebrate mountain life but rather illustrate the daily silent burden of responsibility and women’s pivotal role in maintaining social relations and local customs. The book explores the tie between woman and nature, both characterized by life cycles and the ability to rise from the ashes.
