The discussion will be held in conjunction with the showing of <em>Fungi: Web of Life.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Fungi: The Web of Life <\/strong>by Joseph Nizeti and Gisela Kaufmann (Australia 2022, 45\u2019)<\/p>\n<p>Most of life on earth is interconnected by a vast underground network of mushrooms, a sort of realm overlapping flora and fauna, hidden from view and yet to be discovered. Biologist Merlin Sheldrake introduces the myriad varieties of fungi with the help of his microscope and reveals the secret life of these organisms, their role in biodiversity, medicine, and degradation of plastic waste.
