Viewers can immerse themselves in experimental documentaries shown at two virtual reality theaters in the National Museum of Cinema.<\/p>\n<p><strong>21-22 USA<\/strong><br \/>\nDIRECTOR AND PRODUCER<br \/>\nTHIERRY LOA<\/p>\n<p>CANADA 2023, 37\u2019<\/p>\n<p>The United States seen from an aerial perspective in a virtual reality of ever-changing environments and landscapes: Urban growth and sprawl, industrial development, oil fields, climate disasters: the human impact on the Earth in the Anthropocene has left indelible marks.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Thierry Loa<\/strong> is a photographer, film director, and producer. The closer you come to an oak tree, the more transparent the ground under your feet appears, and the bark becomes a flowing dance of life\u2019s vital essence. It wants to tell you something\u2026<\/p>\n<p><strong>Fabienne Giezendanner<\/strong>, directed IglooSpirit in VR, founded and directs the production company Z\u00e9ro de conduite.<br \/>\nFranck Van Leeuwen trained at the Acad\u00e9mie Charpentier in Paris. He teaches at the \u00c9cole Sup\u00e9rieure de R\u00e9alisation Audiovisuelle in Paris and at the Ceruleum school of visual arts in Lausanne.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Planet \u221e<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>DIRECTOR<br \/>\nMOMOKO SETO<\/p>\n<p>PRODUCTION<br \/>\nBARBEROUSSE FILMS<\/p>\n<p>FRANCIA 2017, 7\u2019<\/p>\n<p>In a not too distant future, there is nature but humans have gone extinct. Insects, fungi, and hybrid marine creatures behave strangely. Is this science fiction or a prophetic vision? After seeing these images you\u2019ll see animals and plants differently from before.<\/p>\n<p>Momoko Seto studied at the \u00c9cole Sup\u00e9rieure des Beaux-Arts, Marseilles, and at the Fresnoy National Studio of Contemporary Art. The award-winning director debuted with Planet A (2008), the first in a series of shorts about the changes affecting the Earth. She has produced audio series, including the popular The Butterfly Effect for Audible, presented by Jon Ronson.
