He is the <\/span><span class=\"s2\">winner of the Le Ghiande<\/span><span class=\"s2\"> Literary Award <\/span><span class=\"s2\">of 2023 CinemAmbiente Festival<\/span><span class=\"s2\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"s2\">In his <\/span><span class=\"s2\">novel<\/span><span class=\"s2\">, which range from gothic to crime, nature is not on the background, but it becomes a well-rounded character. It is an uncanny presence<\/span><span class=\"s2\"> with <\/span><span class=\"s2\">its own will<\/span><span class=\"s2\"> that blends, gets in the way and disrupts the human intentions. It is represented by stones that multiply in the living room and ice revealing <\/span><span class=\"s2\">traces<\/span><span class=\"s2\"> of a crime, sly animals, animated objects and troubled landscapes. In the middle, us: human beings caught off guard by this <\/span><span class=\"s2\">strange <\/span><span class=\"s2\">intimacy. After all, this is the most suitable image to describe the Anthropocene, the geological era <\/span><span class=\"s2\">that carries our name, but which marks the transition from the illusion of human centricity to the disorientation due to a planet that slams its tail and takes back the stage. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"s2\">Morandini got humans and not humans talking, by putting them in comparison and often in conflict, within <\/span><span class=\"s2\">familiar and yet unpredictable <\/span><span class=\"s2\">circumstances<\/span><span class=\"s2\">, always with rare irony, lightness and authenticity in the Italian horizon. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span class=\"s2\">The Award<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"s2\">Le Ghiande Literary <\/span><span class=\"s2\">Award<\/span><span class=\"s2\"> was born in 2015 from a <\/span><span class=\"s2\"><strong>Tiziano Fratus<\/strong> and <strong>Gaetano Capizzi<\/strong>\u2019s idea to celebrate <\/span><span class=\"s2\">poetry and prose authors and authoresses who make ecological awareness an essential element of their poetic work.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"WEDNESDAY 7TH JUNE, CIRCOLO DEI LETTORI, H. 6:00 pm Claudio Morandini, from Aosta Valley (Italy), was born in 1960.
