The effects of climate change pose one of the most urgent challenges of the 21<\/span>st<\/span> century. Drastic problems for which there is no simple solution. Climate change impacts on many aspects of our lives, some of which are more vulnerable to global warming \u2013 migration, for example. <\/span><\/p>\n

The response must come through cooperation between the third sector, institutions, and citizens.<\/span><\/p>\n

Mindchangers<\/span>: Regions and youth for Planet and People<\/span> is a European project that addresses persons aged 15 to 35 years through initiatives organized by local agencies and civil organization in the six regions participating in the project (<\/span>Piedmont in Italy, Auvergne-Rh\u00f4ne-Alpes in France, Baden-W\u00fcrttemberg in Germany, <\/span>F\u00e9d\u00e9ration-Wallonie-Bruxelles<\/span> in Belgium, La Rioja in Spain, and <\/span>Dolj<\/span> County in Rumania). <\/span><\/p>\n

Over a 4-year period, between 100 and 150 projects (54 are currently under way in the six partnership countries) will involve 300,000 young people, about 10,000 of which in educational actions to promote sustainable practices and lifestyles, thus contributing to a just ecological transition. <\/span><\/p>\n

To achieve these objectives and ensure the spread of good practices and project outcomes, an awareness campaign is reaching out to 3 million European Union citizens. The project also includes a study by civil organization<\/span>s<\/span> and local agencies on how to engage young persons. <\/span><\/p>\n

Launched on 1 October 2022, the project is headed by the Region of Piedmont and the Consortium of NGOs in Piedmont participating in the project, co-financed by the European Commission in the framework of the DEAR Program. <\/span><\/a><\/p>\n
