A <\/span>multitalented<\/span> director<\/span>, <\/span>during<\/span> his<\/span> training and <\/span>career<\/span> he <\/span>has<\/span> worked<\/span> in the <\/span>theater<\/span> arts<\/span>, <\/span>sociology<\/span>, music, fiction and <\/span>documentary<\/span> filmmaking<\/span>, <\/span>which<\/span> has<\/span> garnered<\/span> him<\/span> international<\/span> recognition<\/span> through<\/span> his<\/span>investigation<\/span> into<\/span> controversial<\/span> environmental<\/span> issues<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Werner <\/span>Boote<\/span> studied at the University of Vienna, then worked as assistant director and filmmaker for TV and cinema on musical videos and documentaries.
